Mitigo Debuts Visual Symbol Decoding Software at DEMO 2002

               Mitigo's CodePoint Makes Mobile Devices Smarter;
Enables Users to Access Information While They Are Mobile

PHOENIX, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Today at DEMO 2002, Mitigo Inc., a wholly
owned subsidiary of International Wireless, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IWIN),
unveiled CodePoint, a software solution that allows mobile phones, PDAs, and
emerging wireless devices to read visual symbols such as barcodes and complex
matrix codes via integrated digital cameras.
CodePoint virtually eliminates reliance on the keypad for complex data
input and overcomes significant user interface barriers to mobile transactions
and content retrieval. A transaction that would normally take minutes using a
keypad, can now be completed in seconds using CodePoint technology. CodePoint
dramatically improves the usability and functionality of mobile devices by
allowing users to "point, click, and go" enabling precise navigation to
entertainment content, products, or information -- instantly.
CodePoint is based on patented technology in Mitigo's core products and a
result of more than seven years of intensive development by the company's
Chief Scientist, a Ph.D. from MIT with a concentration in Mathematics, and
leaders in machine vision and digital imaging technologies.
"Mobile commerce is one of the next big technology trends," stated Chris
Shipley, executive producer, DEMO. "Mitigo's innovative technology integrates
into today's mobile and wireless devices and will play a vital role in the
evolution of mobile commerce and information retrieval. We expect Mitigo's
offering to be successful in Japan and Europe where they are most receptive to
mobile commerce and in the United States where auto identification technology
provides for cost effective and practical business solutions."
"Visual symbol reading is a quantum leap forward for wireless devices,"
said Kevin Wells, president and CEO of Mitigo. "Mitigo is totally focused on
innovating 'visual intelligence' software solutions for wireless and mobile
devices. Our approach makes mobile devices 'smarter' by reading visual
symbols, enabling precise navigation to content, commerce, and applications.
Now, virtually any mobile device equipped with a low cost digital camera can
function as a barcode reader, opening up the floodgates for billions in
m-commerce revenues."

    Making Mobile Devices 'Smarter'
Visual symbols provide a vital bridge to mobile commerce and content
retrieval by allowing devices to act instantly on dense and precise
information or navigational instructions. CodePoint enables users to input a
tremendous range of complex data without the aid of a keyboard or mouse and
allows users to access complex information while they are mobile. CodePoint
supports standard one and two dimensional barcodes and matrix code imaging at
both price/performance levels that are unattainable by laser-based
technologies. CodePoint uses the digital camera, processor, and storage
capabilities of the wireless or mobile device, and is a cost-effective way to
add important functionality to a mobile handset or PDA.
The CodePoint solution is designed to support both consumer and business
applications. Mitigo's software will be licensed to device manufacturers,
including producers of mobile handsets, PDAs and other devices, as well as
system integrators, VARs and OEMs.

    Availability and System Requirements
CodePoint will be available at the end of March 2002 and is available for
the Windows CE, Palm, and Symbian platforms and can be customized for
additional operating systems.
